Big appliances and heavy-duty equipment need their own safe, dedicated supply. We install compliant connections for ovens, stoves, geysers, instant water heaters, aircons, borehole and pool pumps, welders, compressors, heat pumps, and more — across Harare.
The goal is simple: the right cable size, correctly rated breaker/isolator, proper earthing, and neat routing — so your equipment runs reliably without tripping the DB or overheating wires. No shared extension cords. No guesswork.
For kitchens, we handle hardwired ovens and cookers (separate oven/hob if needed), tidy isolators, and clear labelling in your DB. For outdoors, we weatherproof connections to pumps and motors and protect them against surges and moisture.
If you’re adding a high-load device to an older property, we first check the supply capacity and DB layout. Where necessary, we upgrade breakers, add RCBO/RCD protection, separate circuits, and balance phases (for three-phase supplies).
Commercial sites get the same care: dedicated circuits for machinery, isolators near equipment, trunking/conduit done cleanly, and test results recorded — so landlords, insurers and safety officers are satisfied.
From Borrowdale and Mount Pleasant to Avondale, Highlands, Greendale, Westgate, Mabelreign, Chisipite and CBD — we make heavy-load connections safe, tidy and easy to live with.

Tell us the appliance/equipment (e.g., oven 3.5 kW, 1× aircon 18 000 BTU, borehole pump), your Harare suburb, and where it will be installed. We’ll confirm sizing and quote a neat, compliant connection.
FAQs
1) Do high-load appliances need their own circuit?
Yes. Ovens, geysers, aircons, pumps, welders and similar loads should be on dedicated circuits with the correct cable size, breaker and isolator. This prevents nuisance tripping and overheating and keeps the rest of the house stable.
2) How do you choose the breaker and cable size?
We use the appliance rating (amps/kW), installation method (in-wall, conduit, distance), and ambient conditions to size cables and protection correctly. We then test voltage drop and confirm the DB has capacity before energising.
3) Can you install a cooker/oven isolator and move it to a better spot?
Absolutely. We’ll position the isolator where it’s accessible but discreet, reroute cabling neatly, and label it at the DB. For renovations, we’ll coordinate with your cabinet/tiling schedule to keep finishes clean.
4) What about pumps and outdoor motors?
We fit weather-rated isolators, correct start gear (where needed), proper earthing, and surge protection. All joints and boxes are sealed against rain and UV, and cables are protected from damage.
5) I have three-phase power — can you balance loads?
Yes. We’ll spread heavy circuits across phases to reduce nuisance tripping and voltage dips. For three-phase machinery, we install the correct protection and verify rotation where relevant.
6) Will you test and document the work?
Yes. We test insulation resistance, polarity, RCD operation and earth fault loop impedance, then provide a simple summary of results. If your DB needs upgrades to be safe, we’ll advise and quote before proceeding.
